About the Book

In Lead Like Wesley, Mark Gorveatte devotedly unpacks the heart of each rule of John Wesley famously composed “Rules of a Helper,” revealing how the timeless truths should no less inform and direct all good Christian leadership in this day and age. Each chapter is dedicated to one rule, supported by a key theme with its scriptural context and thoughtfully considered in the light of contemporary research, making a compelling case for character-based leadership.

MARK GORVEATTE was the 11th President of Kingswood University, serving from 2010 to 2015. He is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church in which he has served pastoral appointments as church planter, lead pastor and currently district superintendent. In all of those roles he equipped and encouraged leaders for church health.
