The Wesleyan Church is partnering with Awana to provide mid-week programs that introduce children to Jesus Christ and root them in biblical faith. This partnership combines Awana Clubs proven experience in children’s programming from the Wesleyan perspective.

Awana closely connects churches and parents to raise kids who know, love and serve Christ through:

  • Large-group lessons and small-group leader and parent guides developed by The Wesleyan
  • Church from a Wesleyan doctrinal perspective
  • Community outreach and evangelism to children and families
  • Bible-centered curriculum
  • Fully integrated programs for toddlers through sixth grade
  • Emphasis on Scripture memory
  • Positive mentor and peer relationships
  • Initial and ongoing training of Awana volunteers
  • A discipleship approach that aligns with the Wesleyan focus on the Great Commandment
  • Dynamic appeal for children and volunteers alike

Awana connects churches and parents to introduce children to Christ and build a biblical foundation for their faith:

  1. Strong on Scripture memory

It all starts with these great weekly club programs:

  • Cubbies: preschool-age children learn that God loves them and sent His Son to be their Savior
  • Sparks: kindergarten through second-graders discover God’s plan of salvation and a walk with Jesus
  • Truth & Training: reaches unsaved third- to sixth-graders while helping kids develop a biblical worldview
