Understanding the biblical narrative is a key component to combatting biblical illiteracy, or the phenomenon of Christians who do not read their Bible or understand what the Bible actually says, even if they have the capacity to read.
“SKETCH: Big Picture Biblical Narrative” is a teaching tool to guide discussions regarding the Bible towards a biblical narrative framework. SKETCH serves as an outline of God’s story, allowing for much flexibility and creativity for the needs of each of classroom or group discussion.
Included in this resource are 8 SKETCHES, an explanation of each of the sketches in this teaching tool, and instructions for group use.
