Making a list and checking it twice…Who doesn’t love gifts at Christmas? Wish lists.
Waiting with anticipation. Presents under the tree. One more sleep until Christmas
Day! And then as Christmas morning arrives, it’s on! Squeals, cheers, and pure joy
all around.
And as quickly as the presents are opened, the gifts we really wanted begin to lose
their significance. Maybe it’s not what we really wanted after all. Maybe it didn’t
meet our expectations. Maybe we wished we would have written something else on
our list.
What if kids understood that the greatest gift isn’t wrapped under the tree in the
most beautiful paper and bow? What if they understood that the GREATEST GIFT is
always with us? What would happen if kids knew they could share the GREATEST
GIFT with everyone?
In this series, kids will unpack God’s GREATEST GIFT to the world, when He sent His
Son, Jesus, to us. Kids will understand that Jesus came to be with us, He came to be
our King, He came to rescue us and came for everyone. Jesus is Emmanuel, God
with us, the King, the Savior, and the Light of the World. He’s the GREATEST GIFT we
could ever need!
Age Recommendation: This series is designed for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
