An Online Ordination Program for the Wesleyan Church
Designed for pastors desiring to be ordained through the Wesleyan Church, the Cross Training program is offered exclusively through Oklahoma Wesleyan University. The courses fulfill the academic requirements for ordination set forth by the Division of Education and Clergy Development of The Wesleyan Church.
Maximum Flexibility. Cross Training is only offered online so you can be in class wherever you live or travel as long as you can access the Internet. You can go to class on your time and at your pace and at your location.
Ultimate Convenience. Because classes are only online, you will have the chance to meet others, not just in your area who are also preparing for ministry, but throughout the world. Cross Training Stirs the Gifts

Wherever you want! Cross Training is offered completely online! Oklahoma Wesleyan uses Blackboard Learn, a proven Learning Management System (LMS), to deliver our accredited college and graduate classes in the online format. You will be using the same system for Cross Training classes.If the prospect of online classes concerns you or if you have never used the online format before, then consider this testimony from a pastor who moved from on-ground to online classes.

Headquarters Approval for Academic Credit for Credentialing
Cross Training has been approved by The Wesleyan Church and is designed to offer the courses that you need to fulfill the academic requirements for ordination. However, completion of the program doesn’t mean that you will be ordained. You will still need to have District Board of Ministerial Develop (DBMD) approval.
