Ministry Training Programs provide training classes for people seeking credentialing in The Wesleyan Church.  Churches, districts, and educational institutions can create and develop their own Ministry Training Programs to offer classes and get approval from Education and Clergy Development for these to count towards credentialing.

The Short Form is utilized to get approval for a particular class to be offered for credit for credentialing.  This must be completed for each course being offered.

Note: If a Ministry Training program consistently offers multiple classes a year, they may skip the Short Form and instead utilize the Annual Report found below.

Annual Report

This report is filled out annually by the Ministry Training Program with the basic and simple information needed to ensure approval for credit for credentialing.  This form can be used by programs that consistently offer multiple courses a year and eliminates the need to complete the Short Form for each class.

Grade Submission

All grades for credit for credentialing for classes offered through a Ministry Training program must be completed using the Grade Submission Template.  These should be completed and submitted to education@wesleyan.org.  Before grades are entered into a ministry transcript, ECD will check to ensure the class was approved via a Short Form or Annual Report submission.
