Everyone has conflict with others in their lives. Whether they’re dating, married, or in community – there are certain rules and Biblical wisdom that can be applied when experiencing conflict to help maintain a healthy relationship moving forward. In “Fight Night,” Senior Pastor Kevin Myers shares rules he and his wife, Marcia, developed for Fair Fights.

Week 1: “Listen” – In relational conflict, listening is discovery, not a decision.  We must change the way we listen.  Scripture: James 4:1-2, Philippians 2:1-4, Proverbs 18:2 & 13

Week 2: “Compromise” -Real relationship solutions involve compromise.  (Because nobody gets everything they want in life.)  Scripture: Philippians 2:3-4, I Corinthians 13:1-8a, Proverbs 15:1, Ephesians 5:21-33

Week 3: “Self-Correct” – Trust is the foundation of relationships and self-correction is the foundation of trust.  Scripture: I John 1:9, 2:1-2; I Peter 1:3; John 3:16, John 14:15, 23-24, Philippians 2:1-4, Ephesians 4:30
